zip06.com, an online news and community site that focuses on the Connecticut shoreline, published a feature about Madison Beach Hotel employee Joshua Ruzibuka. A refugee himself, Ruzibuka has worked tirelessly to help other refugees in his community. His efforts not only drew the attention and respect of his co-workers, his supervisor, and the family that owns Madison Beach Hotel, has inspired them to help him help others.
In recognition of his work on behalf of others, Joshua has been awarded the Connecticut Lodging Association Stars of the Industry Award.
