MADISON, CT (June 17, 2025) – A quintessential New England summer comes to life at Madison Beach Hotel, where sweeping shoreline views, live music, and timeless traditions converge for a season of unforgettable experiences. From sun-soaked beach parties to starry-night concerts, the award-winning boutique hotel invites guests and locals alike to revel in the charm of the Connecticut coast.
The season’s signature event, the Grassy Strip Music Series, returns for its tenth year beginning Thursday, June 26, 2025. This beloved nine-week outdoor concert series transforms the hotel’s sweeping lawn into a seaside stage, featuring acclaimed regional and national artists in an intimate, picturesque setting. Free and open to the public, performances begin at 7:30 p.m., set against the backdrop of gentle ocean breezes and Long Island Sound sunsets.
“The Grassy Strip Music Series is about more than just music—it’s about community,” says General Manager John Mathers. “The energy on Thursday nights is incredible, and we’re equally proud of what happens the next morning, when neighbors and volunteers come together to keep our shoreline pristine.”
Each Friday morning following a concert, the Wharf Beach Preservation Group hosts a community beach walkabout to clean the beach and surrounding areas, ensuring the natural beauty of the shoreline remains untouched. All are welcome to join in the effort.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and indulge in curated beachside fare and cocktails from the hotel’s outdoor bar.

Fourth of July Festivities: Americana Cookout & Fireworks
Wednesday, July 2 | 6–9:30 p.m.
Toast the holiday with an oceanside cookout and a panoramic view of Madison’s fireworks. Live music by Lovefox sets the soundtrack for the evening, with festive food, signature drinks, and first-come, first-served lawn seating. The event is free and open to the community and hotel guests.
Jammin’ by the Shore: Mid-Summer Beach Party

New this year, Madison Beach Hotel debuts its first-ever beach party with tropical flair. The Caribbean Vibes Steel Drum Band brings the sounds of the islands to the Connecticut coast, paired with breezy cocktails and laid-back beach vibes.
